ROOTED IN PURPOSETHE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
When I told my sister-in-law the name of our consulting business, Godly Goods, she chuckled. I asked her why she was laughing.
She paused.
I waited.
Then, she explained that she was driving through Philadelphia towards her home in New Jersey, where cannabis is legal for recreational use. Philly is in Pennsylvania, where recreational cannabis remains prohibited.
She explained that there are lots of different names and vibes for dispensaries and farms. Different flavors, like the terpenes one finds in each strain of cannabis, for different folks.
“But,” she chuckled again.
“No one else talks about God or godly, and cannabis.”
I smiled and nodded.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Used carefully, manufactured with integrity, naturally growing on this good Earth, cannabis is a beneficial product that can and should be used to make our lives better.
It can and should be used for both medicinal and recreational purposes.
Used safely, moderately, and by adults only.
VIRGINIA’S RETAIL MARKET

A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE COMMONWEALTH
Adults 21 and older may use cannabis in private in Virginia, subject to the law and property-owner restrictions. Regulated adult-use retail sales are scheduled to begin on July 1, 2027.
Personal use and commercial sales are different. A business must obtain the appropriate license and approvals before it can legally operate.
If you want to manufacture, cultivate, distribute, and sell cannabis to consumers in Virginia, what do you need to do to get a license from the Commonwealth of Virginia?

GODLY GOODS
It is our goal to help small to mid-sized businesses as they prepare to launch into the Virginia cannabis market.

We bring decades of experience in business, law, and compliance, as well as a belief system rooted in love for the earth and the sanctity of the many plants and natural resources she offers and provides for us.
The earth is alive. She has, in her forests, her fields, her plants, and her herbs, what we need to build, create, and harness medicines, nutrition, and power.
The earth gives us all we need. In turn, we try to use her bounty for good.
THE VIRGINIA CANNABIS MARKET
In order to provide safe and effective cannabis to the people of Virginia, we must follow the laws, regulations, and rules set forth by the Commonwealth of Virginia and its Cannabis Control Authority (CCA).
It is well and it is good that the state regulates this industry. Cannabis, after all, should be available to consumers. It must be safe. Those who sell it, manufacture it, or otherwise distribute it must obtain the proper licensure.
The process of obtaining licensure is complex. With our background in compliance, our belief that cannabis is a gift from the earth, and our location 75 miles west of D.C., we are able and willing to help you through the licensure process.
At all stages of CCA licensure.
Packages encompassing all aspects of obtaining CCA licenses across operational areas, including testing labs, distribution, growth and cultivation, and retail.
Including all aspects of business formation, financing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and technical analysis, excluding legal advice or services.1
1. Please note that we do not, nor can we, provide legal advice or legal services.

We believe, as Rumi taught, that all well-intentioned paths lead Home. That means we do not care whether you’re Christian or Jewish, Muslim or Hindu, agnostic or secular.
So long as you do your best to help others and to learn as much as you can while you’re here, we will walk with you.
Most of us who are in the cannabis industry share a set of beliefs, and chief among these beliefs is the concept that we should help one another along the way.
OUR CLIENTS & OUR PRINCIPLES

From a business standpoint, this means we put our clients first, without forgetting our main principles. This is important in cannabis consulting. We will not be used to propagate bad seeds. It is that simple.
Conversely, we want to do good, and to help you on your path of bringing plants to the people. That’s why we are here.
BLUEPRINTS & GUIDANCE
It is our mission to provide the blueprints and the guidance you need to enter and remain in the cannabis industry.
With the help of other industry leaders, we can take you from the initial phases of forming a company to the final stages of submitting your application to the CCA.
The first thing we will do is listen to you—to your dreams, your questions, and your ideas. From there, together, we will decide how best to move forward.
“We will
walk with you.”
